We love to review books, and review all types of fiction, from romance, mystery, chick-lit and historical.  If you are interested in sending a copy of your book to Bookishly Attentive for review, please be aware of the following:

1.    We will be happy to review any fictional book that is published by a publisher, meaning it’s gone through the professional editing process and printed on paper or published online.  At this time we do not review self-published books.

2.    We will also review fan-fiction that has been published (see above).  We do not review fan-fiction that has been self-published (Lulu, etc) or only posted in an on-line forum.

3.    We may not get to your book as soon as it arrives in the mail.  If you would like a review before the publication date, please specify this and make sure we have the book in plenty of time to read and enjoy!

4.    Send us an email at bookishlyattentive AT yahoo.com indicating you would like a review.  Please provide the title of the book, the publisher, and a short description of your submission in your email, and be patient.  We try to check the email as often as possible, but sometimes we all get busy at the same time!  We will let you know if we can review, and provide a mailing address.

We do reserve the right to reject any review request.  All requests will be handled on a case-by-case basis and a decision will be made at that time. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us!

We’d love to hear from you!

  1. Hi,

My new novel, An Improper Suitor, came out in June from Robert Hale Limited. I’d love you to read it and review it.

    Thank you!
